This is where Mercer Street can be found, a unique road with an iconic hotel ideally situated among art galleries and upmarket boutiques – a perfect viewpoint that distils the vibrations of the city and its visitors. An explosion of lime, basil and white pepper: lively and spicy notes evoke the amazing sensation of setting foot in New York for the first time. They fade to give way to a sharp, green rhubarb and a delicate accord of water jasmine and geranium, reminiscent of the flowering window boxes that line the streetside steps. White wood and vetiver then mingle with musks to form a vibrant and enveloping base. They give the composition a touch of a unique Manhattan sophistication.
